Teaching Jobs At Morrison
Morrison Academy is looking for faculty and staff members that love God, love what they do and love the people they serve. If you are looking for a Christian teaching job overseas where you can obey God’s commission to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel”, then we may have a good fit for you within our educational community. These international teaching jobs provide an excellent opportunity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Taiwan.
Many Christian teachers abroad would enjoy working at Morrison but we are selective. We want those whose desire is to not merely have international teaching jobs, or even a more specific desire to have a job in Taiwan. Our mission is important and we want those Christian teachers who can wholeheartedly embrace our vision. Because Morrison is part of the Protestant missionary movement in Taiwan, our staff must also currently be active in a Protestant church. We want faculty and staff who share our core values; people who…
- To follow Jesus Christ
- To proclaim God’s Truth to the world
- To pursue excellence in student learning
- To educate the whole person
- To partner with parents
- To cultivate a caring community
- possess a sense of God’s leading
- are willing to live out their Christian faith in and out of their classrooms (see policy 3020)
- are in agreement with Morrison’s position statements
- are qualified in their area of expertise (teachers need to be certified)
- identify as Protestant
Does this sound like you?
If so, you may be just the person we’re looking for to join the Morrison team!
Morrison’s three campuses are located throughout Taiwan. The northern Taipei campus offer kindergarten through grade nine. The centrally located Taichung Campus and southern Kaohsiung campus offers kindergarten through grade twelve. The Taichung campus also has home-style dormitories for some students outside the Taichung area. Faculty and staff who are accepted to serve at Morrison will be placed at whichever campus they are needed.
Morrison’s curriculum is Biblically integrated, and is based on the United States’ educational system. Therefore, the school day and calendar are similar to that of a U.S. based school. Instruction is in English and is college preparatory in focus. Extensive classroom resources and professional learning opportunities are available on all three campuses.
The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school’s boarding program is also accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International.
