School Improvement Plan (SIP)

The purpose of the School Improvement Plan (SIP) is to facilitate continuous school improvement. SIP goals are based on the position statements, strategic plans and goals established by the Board of Trustees. The SIP informs administrators and staff in the development of annual professional goals. The SIP also serves as the basis for the Annual Accreditation Report.

SIP Goals for 2021-2027

GOAL 1

Foster a culture of Christ-centered instruction and spiritual formation that embraces God's ongoing work.

GOAL 2

Develop, implement, and monitor a system of effective two-way communication between leadership with the school employees and stakeholders to establish a beneficial culture of open and transparent dialogue.

GOAL 3

Implement schoolwide structures and procedures to disaggregate and analyze data, and communicate analyzed results in order to ensure decisions are data-based, focused on improved student achievement and overall school improvement.

GOAL 4

Develop curriculum documents that contain all required elements of Indicator 5.2, consistent across the school for every course taught to ensure a consistent learning experience for all Morrison students.

GOAL 5

Develop and implement a monitoring system for the management of the caseloads of the campus-wide Learning Specialists in order for all students to receive equitable access to the curriculum.

Accreditation Annual Report

Accreditation annual reports provides information on the demographics of the school and identifies how the school has progressed in its action plans for the identified areas of improvement. A report is not submitted on the mid-term visit and the full accreditation visit.

Beginning in 2018, ACSI changed the method and length of Accreditation Annual Reports. A new accreditation report will be made available in 2020 – 2021.
