The MA Alumni Magazine

A magazine named MA undoubtedly stands unique among school publications. A shorter name would be difficult to imagine, yet ours carries a multitude of warm connotations. It premiers as the first alumni magazine of Morrison Academy: thus the acronym MA. Our teams have established enviable records as Mustangs. In our host culture, the Chinese word for a mustang or horse, is MA. In asking a question in Chinese, the sentence ends with MA. We hope that our readers’ questions about MA will be answered in MA. Finally with ma, or mama, as a nearly universal word for mother, we invite our alumni to join us in honoring their alma MAter.
